Undermuscled
You Don’t Have a Fat Problem,You Have a Muscle Problem.
Most women who come to me don’t actually have a fat problem.
They have a muscle problem.
And the worst part is they’re eating like they still have weight to lose.
Women (especially my Gen X ladies) have been conditioned to shrink. Cut calories, skip carbs, avoid red meats, etc. and rely on cardio based strength training to keep their bodies “toned.” I've been there!

When you’re constantly in a calorie deficit, you’re not just losing fat...you’re losing the very thing that keeps your body strong, tight, and metabolically active... muscle.
You can’t build muscle or maintain it if you’re always dieting.
Muscle requires energy to grow, repair, and stay defined. So when you under fuel, your metabolism adapts and slows down over time...
That’s why your body looks “soft” instead of sculpted, even though you’re lifting weights at the gym.
That’s why you have no energy no matter how much coffee you drink and your shape never changes.
What Worked Before Won’t Work Now
And I get it.
You’ve been lifting for years. You’re disciplined. You track your meals, hit the gym consistently, and you’re no stranger to hard work.
But after 40, it's like a flip of a switch.
The “eat less, move more” formula that once leaned you out is now backfiring. Now you're seeing loose hanging arms, stubborn belly fat, more cellulite, etc.
Don't worry, I can help you reset!
Here’s What Needs to Change
If you really want to get a cinched waist, lifted glutes, and that hourglass shape, then start with these 4 steps:
- Eat for Performance, Not Punishment.
You need enough calories (especially protein and carbs) to support training, hormones, and recovery.
- Lift Without the Ego.
Stop going through the motions. Focus on proper setup, form, and progressive overload. Each rep should have purpose and tension, not just movement.
- Stop Chasing the Scale.
Building muscle may not change your weight, but it will change your shape. Inches drop. Curves lift. Strength increases.
- Rest and Recover.
Your body doesn’t grow in the gym, it grows through rest and refuel.
You don’t need another diet to build muscle.
You need a strategy that feeds your muscle, supports your hormones, and makes you Strong & Sexy for the rest of your life!
