You can help by making some small adjustments to your food intake and this includes those healthy vegetables that you thought were helping you out! These few changes in your diet can make a BIG DIFFERENCE from boosting your metabolism and thyroid function,  rather than slowing it down.
So you thought those leafy greens were your answer…think again. Some leafy greens actually interfere with your iodine absorption such as Goitroen foods. Goitrogens are naturally – occurring chemicals that are ingested in foods or drugs and in short, cause interference with the enzymes responsible for adding iodine during the production of the thyroid hormones. So the thyroid isn’t able to produce the hormones that are needed to regulate your metabolism. Here are some VEGETABLES YOU SHOULD AVOID if you HAVE A HYOTHYROIDISM. (or at least eat minimally).
